Early 20th century classic gin cocktail famous for it's lilac color from the sometimes hard to find crème de violette ingredient.
• 2 ounces gin
• 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
• 1/4 ounce crème de violette
• 1/2 ounce lemon juice
• Garnish: brandied cherry
1) Add the gin, maraschino liqueur, crème de violette and lemon juice to a shaker with ice and shake well.
2) Strain into a cocktail glass.
3) Garnish with a brandied cherry.
