The most famous of classic cognac cocktails. A World War I era cocktail that originated in Europe, and was supposedly created for a bar patron that arrived in the sidecar of a motorcycle.
Ingredients:
• 2 oz Cognac
• 1 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
• 3/4 oz Lemon juice
• Garnish: Lemon twist
Directions:
1) Add cognac, cointreau, and lemon juice to a shaker with ice.
2) Shake well, then strain into a chilled martini glass.
3) Garnish with a lemon twist.
