First stirred up in 1930s New Orleans, the name refers to the city's French Quarter. 

Ingredients:
• 3/4 oz Brandy
• 3/4 oz Rye whiskey
• 3/4 oz Sweet vermouth
• 1/4 oz Benedictine
• 1 Dash Peychaud’s bitters
• 1 Dash Angostura bitters
• Garnish: Lemon twist

Directions:
1)  Add brandy, rye, vermouth, Benedictine, Peychaud’s and Angostura bitters to a shaker tin.
2)  Add ice and stir.
3)  Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over fresh ice.
4)  Garnish with a lemon twist.
