The national drink of Brazil, this cocktail dates back to the 16th century.  Cachaça is similar to rum, but is made from distilled sugar cane juice, giving it a distinctive flavor.

Ingredients:
• 2 oz Cachaça
• 2 tsp Sugar
• Two lime quarter wedges
• Garnish: Lime wedge

Directions:
1) Squeeze the two lime wedges into a double Old Fashioned glass, add wedges and sugar to the glass and muddle together.
2) Fill the glass with ice, add the cachaça, and stir briefly.
3) Garnish with a lime wedge.
