Cuban cocktail dating back to the 16th century, this is one of the most popular rum cocktails, especially during the summer months.
• 2 oz white rum
• 1 oz fresh lime juice
• 1⁄2 oz simple syrup
• 7 Mint leaves
• 2 Lime slices
• Club soda, to top
• Garnish: Mint sprig and lime wedge
1) Add mint leaves, lime slices, and simple syrup to a highball glass and gently muddle together.
2) Add rum, then fill with ice and top with club soda.
3) Stir with bar spoon and garnish with a mint sprig and lime wedge.
